Lots of people lose interest in their workout when it becomes stale, predictable, and boring. Obviously, you want to improve. You do this by increasing the intensity at a certain rate from workout to workout. But this can’t go on forever. Sooner or later you have to de-load and reduce the intensity to give your body a chance to recover and avoid overreaching or mild overtraining.

Overload

Without constantly pushing the boundries and challenging yourself, you won’t do anything but wear yourself out. Overload means that you are working out with more intensity than you did the last time you set foot in the exercise room.
